As part of my research into the
200 female convicts who were transported from Ireland to Van Diemen's
Land (Tasmania, Australia) in 1849 on the Australasia,
I have compiled a list of the convicts' relatives who emigrated to America.
Indents
for convicts transported to Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania, Australia)
list the living family members and their location. Many of these
indents list family members who emigrated to 'America'.
The
following table provides a list of those family members who emigrated
to America for female convicts transported on the Australasia.
